Private Yoga and Compassionate Care Workshop

This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and wellness professionals who want to refine their skills in offering personalized, compassionate care through private yoga sessions, small groups, and semi-private classes looking to deepen their approach. You'll learn practical techniques for adapting yoga to meet individual needs, fostering deeper connections, and creating a safe, supportive space for your students.

The main focus of the workshop will be to lay the foundation for honoring both the needs of the student and the teacher. We will discuss several strategies incorporating and prioritizing connection.

Tejal Patel (she/they) is a first-generation Indian American yoga teacher, writer, podcaster, and community organizer.

Tejal’s aim is to educate and empower individuals and groups around the world to practice yoga holistically and through a social justice equity lens.

Tejal can be found decolonizing wellness here at the revolutionary Tejal Yoga Online, our primarily South Asian teacher-led yoga space, as well as with the abcdyogi interactive community, an online hub for healing and learning, and through the Yoga is Dead podcast, e-book, and signature cultural appropriation training.

The world needs more yoga practitioners who honor its depth and share it with integrity.

Want to deepen your yoga and lead with integrity? This training goes beyond asana it’s about learning, unlearning, and reclaiming yoga as a tool for social change. I’m honored to teach in it, and I’d love for you to join me.
